There's an ardent discussion going on around these parts. Are these the worst Oscars ever, as they are so stultifyingly bad, or is the fact that they are so creatively, so fascinatingly bad bring them up to a level of greatness?

See, I thought they were great. Some technical difficulties, but I was glad to see them branch out and do some things differently.
I thought the year my beloved did it, I mean Jon Stewart did it, it was worse. (Was that last year?)

Yup, last year. I don't think this year's cast last year's in any better light, but they lost me completely around the musical montage number. And I *love* musicals.
